It’s done. My blog has now been copied over to http://bumblebeemum.net . You can see it now, it looks pretty much like this current site, except I added a cute cover photo of my boys. 🙂 I’m in the process of importing my hundreds of images over and updating the links, but it shouldn’t affect the new site. Once that is completed, I will be redirecting bumblebeemum.wordpress.com to bumblebeemum.net and you won’t see me here anymore.

I did it! I bought a domain and signed up with a web host who has helped me migrate ALL my blog posts up to the previous post to a new site! Within the next few days, I will be redirecting this blog to my new home, BUT ONE PROBLEM. You see the +Follow thingy at the top of this blog? If you have been using that to follow my blog, you won’t be able to follow my blog with that anymore once I switch over to my new domain. *CRIES* It’s really kind of upsetting for me, because YOU are the ones who have supported my blog the most since its infancy and I would hate to lose you all as my valued readers when I shift.

Hi everyone! Thank you for supporting my blog for the past 4 years (or so). My blog is currently on a free WordPress.com platform, but it is insufficient to support my blog in the long run because of the limited storage space (in case you didn’t notice, I tried to include tons of photos in my posts, because you know the saying – a picture says a thousand words!) I’ve been sitting on this decision for a long long time, to stay on WordPress.com and pay for space upgrade, or shift out totally. I figured if I were to pay for space upgrade, I might as well pay for my own hosting and gain greater control over my blog.. Right?? I am now looking into alternative hosting solutions and will need to tidy up my blog’s new home before I officially make the shift. So while you all are spring cleaning your homes for Chinese New Year, I’ll be spring cleaning my blog and hopefully I can get my new home up by CNY!
